TRAVEL
Geographic territories where sustained observation has occurred.
Travel here is not a record of movement.
It is a framework for staying long enough to notice.
TERRITORIES
Each territory represents repeated presence over time.
A territory is added only when:
- Return visits occur
- Work cannot be completed in a single pass
- Observation changes between visits
Some territories remain active.
Others go dormant.
None are rushed.
TERRITORY STATUS
Working — active observation and return
Dormant — observation paused, not closed
Unopened — no territory exists until time is spent there
Status reflects attention, not ambition.

HOW TRAVEL CONNECTS TO THE REST OF THE SITE
Travel defines where work occurs.
Field Notes document how it unfolds.
Projects define why it exists.
Objects and prints trace back to a territory or project.
CONSTRAINT
If a place cannot support return, it does not become a territory.
Movement enables observation.
Observation defines inclusion.
